Spring is the Grossest Time to Travel

    April 2, 2013 /

Maybe it’s because of where I grew up, but spring has never been my favourite time of year. You would think maybe it would be winter with it’s cold weather, snow and near hermit living conditions, but winter has its perks. Just because I’m Canadian doesn’t mean I have to like the snow! Oh wait, it does?…

Rome in a Day – A Quick Roman Holiday!

    March 21, 2013 /

I’m never one to advocate speed runs of a destination, particularly if it’s your first time, but sometimes you really don’t have any other choice. I would never advise rushing through a city as steeped in history and good times as Rome, but you’d also be crazy to skip it altogether! With so much to see and do you might feel overwhelmed trying to squeeze it all into one…
