Time to Relax at the Makadi Spa Hotel

The resort of Hurghada, on the coast of the Red Sea in Egypt, is the perfect place for a summer holiday. Popular with couples and families alike, there is something for everyone here, from watersports and sunbathing to delicious food and pampering treatments. The area is renowned for its scuba diving and snorkelling thanks to its crystal clear waters and exotic sea life, but you don’t need to be a diver to appreciate its fantastic location and atmosphere. Throw in a warm subtropical desert climate with up to 13 sunshine hours per day, and you have a recipe for success.

There are plenty of hotels in Hurghada, to suit all tastes and budgets. Upmarket hotels such as the newly built Makadi Spa Hotel offer an experience that is hard to beat. The five-star hotel is centred round an ethos of wellness and this is evident in every aspect of the hotel. With relaxing body treatments, friendly Egyptian hospitality and beautiful architecture, every aspect illustrates a fusion of traditional and modern styles. If you are after a five star luxury experience, this could well be the place for you.

The Makadi Spa Hotel is located in Makadi Bay, a beautiful bay with a gently shelving natural beach. It’s a great location for chilling out during the day or watching a romantic sunset in the evening. The beach is blissfully private and a fantastic spot for snorkelling as well as catching some rays, but there are some sharp corals so sandals are recommended.

If you want to take advantage of the hotel’s facilities when it comes to sports and entertainment, you have a wide choice that includes free snorkelling, yoga and pilates. There is also access to a large swimming pool and an infinity pool that overlooks the Red Sea. What better views could you ask for? There’s no need to worry about loungers, parasols and towels – these are all provided, and there is a beach bar with waiter service. Beach massage is available at an extra charge. All you need to do is lie back and soak up the sun.

If you are after something more active, various sports activities are also available for a small extra cost. These include gym facilities, tennis courts and a football pitch. The fitness centre has its own sports bar for some well-earned relaxation after working up a sweat.
